CNC router attacking afromosia wood chair seat

Making of the main seat plate of the “Insect Chair” by Pigeontail. Material is reclaimed afromosia wood, cutting on the CNC router here at the lab. CNC router running at 250 IPM using a 1/2″ solid carbide down cut bit. The wood is reclaimed. Everything was going great until we encountered a drywall screw in the wood (a risk you take with reclaimed lumber) and roached a $76 cutter. Oh well, another one bites the dust. Came out good though.
