Product Description

The newly released 8″ jointer with cast iron tables, longer fence and fence supports. The much anticipated cast iron tables provide a total working length of 54″. The new fence is 20% longer with the addition of fence support brackets. The spiral cutterhead comes standard with 16 indexable 2-sided inserts to create perfectly flat and square boards to start off any project the right way. From simple flatting, to correcting defects in boards to edge jointing, the 8″ Cutech jointer is a valuable tool to deliver the precision cuts that woodworkers need to make their projects come to life.

Two-sided inserts

Two-sided inserts sit in perfect alignment to the spiral cutterhead. Non-cutting edge designed to prevent insert from skewing when tightening down insert screw.

Cast Iron Tables

Durable cast iron tables for a consistent quality finish every time. Surface is ground smooth and precise to a flatness of 0.15mm in tolerance. The increased hardness of cast iron provides a strong support while providing a more scratch resistant finish.

Spiral Cutterhead

Cutterhead with 6 rows that holds 16 staggered inserts for a smooth finish.

Elevation control

Redesigned elevation guidance for superior elevation control. Newly added second guide post further tightens the tolerance of the Infeed Table parallelism from 0.004″ to 0.002″.

Additional support rod system

Additional support rod system secures jointer frame, maintaining a strong upright structure.

Fence Enhancement Brackets (Taiwanese Patent in Application)

New brackets support a longer fence to keep the fence tolerance tight. Together the brackets and longer fence provides support for precise angle stops at 90° and 135°.

Depth of Cut

The easy to read depth of cut scale with red pointer correlates with how low the infeed table is lowered to see the amount of material to be taken off.

Extendable Tables

Versatile 16½” tables that extend for an additional support up to 26½”, for a total length of 54”.

Pinch Guards

Pinch Guards eliminate the risk of hand injuries when retracting extension bars.
