Wood Turning – Turning Larger Bowls Part 2

This is the second recording I’ve recorded myself recently, turning larger wooden bowls, and it still feels a bit strange, but will help remind me and you of the angles I have to put the wood on my lathe when I turn larger bowls. In this part I am smoothing the outside off roughly and speeding the lathe up a bit to get a smoother outer edge. In the next movie I will be putting a beveled edged whole in the middle/bottom for my chuck to fit! I didn’t record me sharpening the tools first! or the sweeping up! :)
